The Alka is an inflatable punt designed for calmer rivers, with a highly adaptable interior created by sliding inflatable seats that make it easy to open space for barrels, gear, or children. An inflatable rear deck allows the stern guide to sit, with a gap behind the deck for easy water drainage and cleaning, while footholds in the stern improve control. The raft features front tie points for securing luggage, rope eyes at the bow for pulling, multiple carry handles along the sides and stern, and a pump handle stored under the front deck. The Alka 5 can be comfortably paddled by two people or carry up to five with gear, and compared to the standard Alka 5, the Alka 5 XL Light is slightly wider, more stable, offers more interior space, and is lighter due to a combination of thinner inner material and thicker outer material.
