Compact. Light. Reliable. From learning the basics to varied adventures, the Ion is the kayak equivalent of a multi-tool. A shorter boat is better suited to shorter journeys, as well as being more maneuverable and easier to transport and store. Since the Ion isn’t designed for the more committing adventures of its larger sibling, the Fusion, the outfitting has been kept functional yet simple and light. This reduces not only the overall weight of the boat but also the complexity of getting it set up and ready to go.
