With the Melker Värmdö, Melker introduces a next-generation lightweight, high-performance, and plant-based construction in a comfortable and playful light touring and recreational kayak. The Värmdö is designed for savvy performance paddlers as well as more recreational “la dolce vita” paddlers who wantto feel like rockstars on the water while remaining easy to lift onto a roof rack after a day of paddling. Sleek, forgiving, and stable, it allows new paddlers to build skills with confidence while offering the predictability and performance needed for surf, rolling, carving, and rock gardening. The kayak is equipped with a premium seat that delivers exceptional comfort and straightforward sit-in adjustability, available in three sizes (S, M, and L) and mountable in three positions. The Värmdö in Trad-Core uses a more traditional sandwich layup with a PET Soric core made from recycled PET bottles, flax in the deck, vinylester resin, and a gel coat finish.
