First shown in shadow at the Paddle Sports Show in Strasbourg, Pyranha’s latest creation now has a name: the Wizard.
Pyranha’s new playboat blends old-school charm with two decades of design evolution for pure fun on waves and in holes. And like all good magic, it won’t last forever.
Not only did Pyranha reveal a new concept boat, but they also introduced a new way to release it. Only 300 Wizards will be produced worldwide, each individually numbered and built to order, with every paddler choosing their own color scheme. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Some of Pyranha’s earlier models, like the ProZone, S6F, and Seven-0, were ahead of their time and only fully appreciated after their molds had been recycled. With the Wizard, Pyranha is turning that story around. This limited run is a way of saying, “This one’s built to be a classic.” The Wizard brings back the spirit of those cult favorites, rebuilt with modern plastic technology, the new Elite Pro outfitting, and twenty years of design experience behind it.
The Wizard isn’t a remake or a full slice. It’s a fresh blend of past and present, made for unrestrained fun both on waves and in holes.
As Pyranha puts it, “The forges are lit. There’s magic in the water only the Wizard knows how to unleash.”
