For years, Palm has been searching for a material that could genuinely reduce environmental impact without compromising the performance standards demanded by serious paddlers.
That search has led to Seawastex®. Made from discarded fishing nets and marine nylon waste, Seawastex® uses advanced chemical recycling technology to break recovered nylon back down to its original molecular building blocks before regenerating it into premium technical yarns. The result is a high-performance fabric that matches, if not exceeds, the strength, durability and abrasion resistance of virgin nylon.
Palm is rolling out Seawastex® across most of the new outerwear range that will be introduced in 2026, marking one of the most significant material developments in the industry in recent years.
WHITEWATER
Newly updated for 2026, the Atom range features drysuits, jackets and pants. Constructed using XP 4-layer Seawastex® PFAS-free performance fabrics, the new collection combines exceptional durability, waterproof protection and all- day comfort with recycled marine nylon recovered through programs that support cleaner coastlines and local communities.
The range includes men’s and women’s drysuits alongside the Atom jacket, YKK AquaSeal zips, with fresh colorways across the collection and arriving in stores now in the UK and shortly in Europe.

The new Bora suits and Chinook jackets also join the Seawastex® range. Available in fresh new colors and more sustainable fabrics, Palm’s updated touring collection delivers dependable protection and comfort for everything from evening paddles to longer expeditions.
Designed for demanding conditions, the new men’s and women’s Bora suits are constructed from Seawastex® XP 4-layer PFAS-free recycled fabric, combining outstanding waterproof performance and breathability with a durable high-density nylon weave and reinforced panels. A six-panel articulated cut provides freedom of movement, while the soft GlideSkin neck seal, removable storm hood and flexible YKK AquaSeal dry zips offer lasting comfort and protection in challenging weather.
The men’s and women’s Chinook jackets use lightweight Seawastex® XP 2.5-layer PFAS-free recycled fabric to provide waterproof and breathable protection without unnecessary bulk. Latex wrist gaskets, an adjustable ExoSkin neck seal and a spraydeck-compatible twin waist help keep water out, while the removable storm hood and fleece-lined collar add warmth and versatility when conditions change.
The new Bora suits and Chinook jackets are available in fresh colorways from Palm retailers.
