MARSPORT – CANOEKIT ULTRA HEAVY DUTY AIRBAGS
Canoe airbags are nearly all rubbish. Every experienced paddler knows they don’t last a year unless you cover them in foam, or overpriced airbag covers.
Canoekit have taken a leaf from sailing technology, using an ultradurable fabric with a unique bonding system taken from mast floats to manufacture their bags, making them in a league of their own.
Mast floats are inflatable bags left on the top of masts to stop them sinking in the event of a capsize, so are exposed to the elements 24/7 , meaning they need to be far beyond the durability our humble bags need to be.
This means we have finally produced a bag that should last years even if you don’t look after it!

RED PADDLE CO – SILENT AIR REMOVERA handheld accessory that reduces the sound of a deflating iSUP board to reduce the impact on both the user and the environment around the them. Taking steps to be more responsible. The Silent Air Remover is compatible with all inflatable watercraft that use an HR style valve.
With the rapid growth in SUP and the mass adoption of inflatable boards the sound of deflating boards at the end of a day is literally deafening. Emitting over 130db of sound, a deflating iSUP literally disturbs the peace and can be an embarrassing experience for the paddler, especially on a crowded beach. It can be an alarming sound for people and pets as well as wildlife. With a clear respect for people and environments the Red Paddle Co Silent Air remover is a patent pending design that is unique in SUP.
The Red Paddle Co Silent Air Remover designed by Michael Woineck
reduces the noise of a deflating board down to below 80db. This fits with Red Paddle Co’s aim to act more responsibly in all areas of business and sport. Whether it be a reduction of waste material, the removal of single use packaging or a clear awareness of the environments that we are paddling in Red Paddle Co is passionate about a program of constant improvement.
The Silent Air Remover is made to conform to Red Paddle Co’s DFD design philosophy. This stands for Designed for Disassembly. This means that every part of the Silent Air Remover can be replaced and any old parts can be recycled. No longer do you need to discard broken product. Instead you can just request replacement parts to keep your product working.
MOCKE – LIFELINE LEASH
When paddling surfski kayaks offshore, one of the most essential safety accessories is a craft leash that tethers the paddler to the craft. Because surfskis often go out very deep and in very rough water, the chances of capsizing are high which means the chances of losing oneís surfski are also high. If this happens then you could be in a world of trouble!
MOCKE has designed a number of leashes, but our 2019/2020 leash is set apart for a number of reasons.
The biggest change in our latest leash is that there is no longer a “quick-release” buckle or snap hook. The reason we removed it is simple: Itís not necessary. After many deliberations we concluded that there is not actually a valid reason to have a quick release buckle on the leash.
Apart from it being an unnecessary part of the leasch, having a quick release also creates another area of potential leash failure. It actually makes the leash less safe! There is NO quick release system on a surfski leash which is failsafe. They either corrode so they canít snap closed, they have sharp edges which can cause injury, or simple a manoeuvre of the leash can detach it from your leg. We decided to remove it all together and that there had to be a way to incorporate a quick release function into the velcro calf strap.
With some simple but very clever design we changed the position of the swivel point while decreasing the length of “male” Velcro attachment. We then added a prominent pull tab to the end of the leash making it easy to find. Now, because of the swivel and pull tabís positions, the would always face the front when you put it on your leg, and because the Velcro is shorter, one can quickly remove it with one pull. With any other Velcro calf strap one has to unwrap the strap to get it off, but with the MOCKE calf strap one can do it with one short pull. Because of the way velrco works, the shorter strap doesnít decrease the leashís ìholdabilityî
Some other features
Some of the other stand apart features is that we increased the stretched out length of the leash without increasing its compactness. This was done simply by increasing the size of coils.
Our leash was the first surfski leash to incorporate double swivels. This is still part of our leash design. The double swivels mean that the leash does not tangle or knot up if one capsizes. It also takes pressure off the coiled polyurethane when it is under stress as the cord can freely twist and there is less chance of it breaking.
Finally the ski attachment side one now has a choice of using a Velcro system to wrap around the foot strap, or using the string provided in a leash plug, which many of the skis now offer.
We removed our plastic packaging for this product and it is now packaged

GOOD GOODS TEGERNSEE GMBH – REACHA
Reacha has been redefining an entire product category: it is the first ultralight hand and bike trailer made in Bavaria. The lightweight modular trailer for outdoor sport enthusiasts comes with innovative design in fivedifferent models, one of which was created in partnership with edco carbon wheels. The five variations aresuitable for any occasion. The highlight for all DIY fans is the Do-It-Yourself model with a standardized wheelsuspension that allows the recycled use of any bike wheel from 20 to 28 inches.
The plug-in system made of aluminium tubes with snap joints has three special advantages: Firstly, the weightis reduced to a minimum, secondly, every reacha is adjustable in length and width, and thirdly you assemble ordismantle the reacha in no time without any tools. This is how reacha is easy to transport and store thanks toits low weight and small pack size. Each reacha consists of a patent-pending frame, a textile loading area andinterchangeable tyres.reacha can be equipped with an additional bike connector and side bows for more stability. It can be used as ahand or bike trailer for hassle-free transport of several SUP and surfboards. On narrow/short setting you can easily manoeuvre it through the city and on broad/long setting you can fit up to 7 softboards or a stand up paddle board with up to 14″ length.
The inventors of reacha are addicted to surfing and stand up paddling. After countless vacations at the French Atlantic coast and weekend trips to Bavarian lakes, they needed a trailer that could carry all their surf and SUP boards. This is how the first prototype came to life: bikes from the junkyard, a wooden frame and an old wishbone boom. Today, this frame is produced at CTM in Rosenheim, Bavaria with years of experience in manufacturing for highest processing quality. In contrast to most bicycle trailers, the reacha founders have also opted for high quality wheels in order to guarantee a long lifespan. All wheels come from experienced quality manufacturers. During the development plastic was reduced to a minimum. For the remaining plastic parts socalled “injected carbon” is used, which mainly comes from recycled carbon from aviation. It is particularly stable and durable.
All components are rustproof and weatherproof so you can also use it with a clear conscience for sand and salt water. Everything is assembled, adjusted and shipped in Bavaria.
